Anand Wong is a seasoned HR executive with over 25 years of leadership experience across the Asia-Pacific region, specialising in HR strategy, transformation, and end-to-end people operations across both multinational corporations and high-growth startups. He is the founder of Heron Resource Technologies, where he partners with organisations to design and execute practical, scalable people strategies, provide fractional HR leadership, and lead HR technology and digital transformation initiatives.

Alongside his consulting work, Anand is building his own HR technology venture, driven by a belief that truly effective people solutions must be grounded in real HR experience and designed with people at the centre. In 2025, he further expanded his portfolio as an AI Generalist, focusing on the responsible application of artificial intelligence to human capital management, addressing organisational challenges while enhancing decision-making, productivity, and employee experience.

Over the course of his career, Anand has led large-scale initiatives spanning M&A integration, HRIS deployment, organisational design, talent management, and change transformation at globally recognised organisations including American Express, Metso, Sigma-Aldrich (now Merck KGaA), Lazada, Chope, and Love, Bonito. He is widely recognised for his collaborative and empathetic leadership style, strong stakeholder engagement, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Anand holds an Executive MSc in HR & Global Leadership from Baruch College (CUNY) and is certified in SHL OPQ/MQ, DDI Targeted Selection, and 360 Feedback tools.
