Eva Mattheeussen is the Head of Human Resources for DHL Global Forwarding in the Middle East and Africa, overseeing 27 countries and more than 3,000 employees. Based in Dubai, Eva has been driving HR transformation since 2013, leading initiatives that combine business growth with a strong people-centric approach. Her work focuses on embedding sustainability into HR strategies aligned with DHL’s S2030 goals, fostering well-being through programs like Wellbeing Wednesdays, and advancing social impact through UBUNTU, which trains underprivileged youth in Africa for careers in logistics. She also champions leadership development through SALAM, psychological safety via Sparkling Eyes, and customer engagement through Circles, connecting DHL employees with global brands.
 

Eva is the architect of signature programs including the Young Talent Program, Chinese Talent Development Program, and Women @ DHL Global Forwarding, all designed to instill a growth mindset and enable business success. She also sponsors DHL’s strategic focus on the Luxury and Fashion sector. Recognized globally for her contributions to diversity and inclusion, Eva is currently writing a book on Belonging, inspired by her mission to create workplaces where people thrive. With over 15 years at DHL, she has held leadership roles across Europe, Asia, and Africa.
