Dr. Louise Lambert, PhD, is a Registered Psychologist (Canada), researcher, and workplace wellbeing consultant with 20+ years of experience spanning counselling, mental health, education, and primary healthcare. Having lived and worked in the UAE for the past 18 years, her work has focused extensively on organisational and educational consulting, teaching, and research in the field of happiness and wellbeing across the MENA region. Her expertise lies in positive psychology and the empirical strategies that support sustained subjective wellbeing. This has been the core of her professional and academic focus for more than two decades, reflected in her numerous peer-reviewed publications on positive psychology applications, wellbeing programming, cultural impact, and organisational signalling around corporate wellbeing initiatives. Currently serving as Head of Happiness Programming & Policy Design at HappinessMatters.org, Dr. Lambert leads the design, delivery, and evaluation of large-scale wellbeing and positive education programmes, including initiatives with Dubai College and AlNowair Foundation (Kuwait). Her prior work also includes employee training and organisational programmes with institutions such as Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, KAUST (KSA), and Cigna Insurance Middle East. She is also the Editor of the Middle East Journal of Positive Psychology, a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing regional research and practice in wellbeing.
